Once it sets, it doesn’t leave behind any stickiness or tackiness on the skin so I don’t feel like I have to set my entire face with powder, which I appreciate! In terms of longevity, I would put it around the 6-8 hour mark. I noticed that this dries down and sets fairly quickly, so I recommend buffing or blending it out right after application. This blurs imperfections without emphasizing my skin texture, dry patches, or larger pores (particularly around the nose). This foundation gives light-buildable-to-medium coverage with a matte, airbrushed finish. Formula: I always dread the dryness and cakiness of stick foundations, but I was impressed with how creamy this is, while simultaneously feeling weightless on the skin. But to be fair, I wouldn’t hold that against them as long as the product inside performs well, especially for the affordable price tag. I much prefer the sleek, aesthetically pleasing packaging of the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation (review here) or Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Stick Foundation (review here). Price: $5.99 ( ) Packaging: The typical twist up packaging is practical, but honestly, nothing to write home about. Infused with Argan and Sunflower Seed oils for intense moisture and seamless bendability, the Photo Focus Stick Foundation perfects your complexion and boosts your confidence to have you looking and feeling great from sunup to sundown ( ). What it is: The Photo Focus Stick Foundation delivers long lasting coverage in a breakthrough, lightweight, multi-dimensional formula that applies to a flawless semi-matte finish. It blends quite easily and provides a comfortable matte finish on the skin which is perfect for summer. The Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Liquid Foundation is one of my top favorite drugstore foundations (blogpost here), so naturally, I was intrigued when Wet n Wild recently released a Stick Foundation from the same line. While I wasn’t really blown over by the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer, which was a bit too creamy and peachy for my liking, this foundation is quite decent for daily wear. It seemed a little light for me when I swatched it on my arm, but due to its medium coverage, it is a pretty good match for my complexion (I am the shade 230 in Maybelline Fit Me and NC35 in MAC). I picked the shade Golden Beige, which has a beautiful yellow undertone that really suits my skintone. Also, the brand claims that this formula has been specially formulated to prevent flashback in different lighting conditions, and this foundation indeed does not give a flashback in pictures.Ĭoming to the shades, the product is available in 9 shades in India, which is a decent number to begin with but I hope they introduce a wider shade range soon. It stays on for at least 6 hours on my combination skin and does not become oily during this period. It dries down to a matte texture on the skin which does not look cakey and feels quite natural, however, it does tend to cling to the dry patches under the eye and on my forehead, so I have to moisturize my skin well before applying this foundation. It provides medium coverage on the skin and does not hide dark circles and blemishes fully without a concealer, but it does hide pigmentation and evens out the skintone to a good extent. It also sets quite quickly on the skin so you have to blend it quickly to ensure even coverage. However, the formula of this foundation is quite liquidy so you have to be careful while using the spatula, else it may drip the product on your clothes.Ĭoming to the formula, as I mentioned before, this foundation is quite liquidy and almost trickles on the skin like a serum foundation. I personally wasn’t much of a fan of the flimsy spatula to begin with and would have preferred a pump or a doe foot applicator but have now gotten used to it and do not mind it much. You get 30ml of product for INR 599 although there is usually some nice discount running on this foundation online. It does not contain a pump but has a plastic spatula, as shown in the picture above, for dispensing the product. The Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation comes in a glass bottle with a black screw on lid. I picked it up recently at a great discounted price, and here is my review of the product after using it for a couple of weeks. This product is a popular drugstore foundation which is affordable and is loved by many. Your girl is on a foundation testing spree at the moment, and even while writing the review of this foundation, I am eyeing a couple of newer foundation launches as well! Anyway, coming back to the topic at hand, today I will be talking about my thoughts on the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation.
